Olivia found the dog chomping on this big beetle. So we captured it and looked it up online. After deciding it was probably a Rhinoceros Beetle (or in the family)and harmless, I let the kids play with it.
Jack was okay with this little creature, until it crawled past his elbow!
Olivia on the other hand wanted to keep it as a pet.
