I can't believe it is only the beginning of March and already the peach tree is in full bloom. It was so fun to see the girls go out each day and carefully inspect the tree to see how it had progressed from buds to blossoms and now leaves. Hopefully I can add peaches to that list. We are not to hopeful since it has only been in the ground one year. But we will keep our fingers crossed!
Notice all the dirt? We are in the process of building a raised garden/flower bed. The soil here is clay. We are hoping that this year things will grow a little better with improved soil. And praying that it is not my thumb.
This is my raspberry vine. Look at all those raspberries. I can taste them now-or not. Because the dog ate them-ALL. I wanted to strangle her. But I didn't, I just put her in her kennel. So, there was not a berry left, not even the slightest bud of a raspberry. I guess there won't be too many raspberries this year.
