This was my conversation with Olivia in the car yesterday.
Katie: Is that a booger on my seat?
Me: Olivia did you wipe that booger on her seat?
Olivia: No I wiped it on my seat?
Me: Olivia, I just cleaned your seat. Please don't wipe boogers on your chair. When we get home you need to go get a tissue and clean it up.
Olivia: (a few seconds have passed) There! I put the booger back in my nose!
Yes, I was pretty disgusted the rest of the way home.

Husband Tag
This is my first tag. I must say the title is deceiving. When I first read it I thought "finally, Jon has to write something." But, then I read on and realized I was supposed to write about him! So first here are the people I am tagging-Michelle, Becky, Katrena, Stephanie, Kim and Janell.

I hope he does!

Jon did.

Jon, by about 8 inches.

Well...Jon but don't tell him that.

Me, but he does have a sensitive string in him. You just have to know how to pull it!
7. Who does the laundry?
I do.
8. Who sleeps on the right side of the bed?
I do, it's closest to the bathroom!
9. Who pays the bills?
Well...technically he pays them...I just write the checks.

I do.
11. Who is more stubborn?
Hmm. That is a hard one. I think we are equally stubborn.
12. Who is the first to admit they are wrong?
Usually Jon.
13. Who has more siblings?
I do 5 to 3.
14. Who wears the pants in the family?
Jon wears them, I like him to know the final decision is his.
15. What do you like to do together?
Spend time with our family, go on walks and bike rides. Watch movies. Go to beach, hiking and travel.16. Who eats more sweats?
That is a hard one. But probably Jon.

Hamburgers and ice cream!

20. What is his best feature?
I love his smile and laugh. That is one of the first things I noticed. I love to hear him laugh. And I love his broad muscular shoulders. SSSexy!
21. What is his best quality?
Well he has tons. But to pick one I would have to say... He is a hard worker and very devoted to providing for his family. He puts everything he has into what ever he is doing. I love that about him.
Sunday Do
Last Sunday Katelyn was sick, so Jon stayed home with Katelyn and Jack. Which meant I had some extra time that morning. So I did Olivia's hair up real cute and she wanted to share the pictures.

Jon was trying to be real slick; he got Jackson all dressed and ready to go to church with me and Olivia. So, I asked him, "Why did you get Jackson ready?" He replied, "He loves to go to church, so I thought you could take him." For those of you who have seen him at church, know! He likes to move! 
Needless to say I did win this battle. Olivia and I enjoyed ourselves in peace. It was a really great sacrament meeting. I think it is the first time in months...maybe years that I was actually able to listen to every speaker...all the way through!!

Jackson reached another milestone and is very excited to show off his new moves. He can jump! He is such a happy guy. We are so blessed to have him in our family.

Bandaids to the Rescue
We had some friends over to make Bee Bows and had a great time. While the kids were playing Katelyn and Emiley bonked heads. Olivia came to their rescue and bandaged them up. Things were instantly better. Thanks Olivia.

4th of July
This 4th of July was very exciting.
Jon surprised us with a trip down to Marina Del Rey. We had talked about going but decided we wouldn't go this time. But after some thought Jon decided to take advantage of this 4 day
Jon surprised us with a trip down to Marina Del Rey. We had talked about going but decided we wouldn't go this time. But after some thought Jon decided to take advantage of this 4 day
weekend. So we went to the Beach! We had a wonderful time at Santa Monica Beach. We had a nice little spot close to the water. The family next to us dug a big huge hole and Kate and Jack loved playing in it. They dug so deep there was water!
Kate is definitely a beach bum--she loves the sand!!! And her diaper was full of proof. She had so much fun digging and building castles in the sand. 
Olivia loved going in the water with her Daddy! Daddy would take her way out in the water. The waves were crashing over their heads. I was so happy to see her having so much fun fully immersed in the water. Too bad there are no pictures.
Jack truly enjoyed the salty sand. The first thing he did was sit down and dig in. He was literally shoveling the sand into his mouth.
It was pretty funny the fist few times then I had to put a stop to it. He was okay with that once he discovered there were better things to do with the sand.
He did enjoy running, digging, and throwing the sand. He also enjoyed smashing Katie's castles.
Olivia would drag in the kelp and then Jack would explore it. He quite liked the stuff.

After the beach we headed back to the hotel to get ready for FIREWORKS! 
Before the fireworks we stopped at the In-N-Out Burger that is right next to the LA airport and got to watch some airplanes land. Then we walked across the street to this little park and took a few pictures of the kids. 
These trees were perfect for climbing in....
And of course taking pictures in.

We went to Chace Park which was in a Marina and waited for the show. There was a radio station there playing music and a clown with balloons. But the kids really had the most fun just messing around on the blanket with Daddy. Daddy surprised them with candy necklaces they got to put together. We really had a great time. 
These are the funky little hats that the clown made for us. We put on Jack and he pulled right down on his head and started laughing. He thought he was pretty funny. The girls were sad when they all popped. Which was before the show even started! 
The next day we headed down to Carlsbad to go to Legoland.

This was the first ride we went on, it blew water out all around as you whizz around in this little sea jet. It is like you are barely evading the bombs. Olivia liked it.

This is Miniland. It is all built out of Lego's. It was pretty amazing. This San Francisco. It was like you are really walking through the city. There was even the pier that all the sea lions have taken over. The curvy road, the SF bridge, china town, Nob Hill. All of it. It was really neat. 
In this picture you can see New York City, the Statue of Liberty and the new Twin Towers. There was also the Taj Mahal, Sydney Opera House, Las Vegas and many more. 
This is for the Nascar lovers in my family. Yes, there was even Nascar. You can see the fans in the stands, the pit, campers, too many things to name. 
See the little guy on Port-a-potty and the police all around!
I really loved how it seemed you were there. These cities are like exact replicas of the actually city. There was so much detail. It was really neat! 
We had a wonderful weekend. (Even though Jack cried until 1am both nights and Mommy got food poisoning!!) Thanks Daddy for the great surprise!
