At 3:30a.m. I wake with a start and am prompted to move. I jump from my bed and quickly move toward the kids. As I leave my room, I hear an all to familiar sound of running water. I sail across the floor the remainder of the distance to the kids bathroom. And what do I find? My most recent specimen standing at the sink. I do what any mother would do at a moment such as this, and send him to bed. I feel things are going pretty well, since the water is only covering the larger portion of the counter and not the floor, only one towel is sopping wet, only half the rubber bands have been washed down the drain, only one book is dripping with water, and only five bows have drowned. I clean up, and all the while Jack is wailing and crying "Momma" in his bed. I kneel down at his bedside and he wraps his little arms around my neck and squeezes with all his might...and won't let go. Then says "I sauwee" What more can I say, this little guy pulls on my heart strings.

Peach Blossoms
I can't believe it is only the beginning of March and already the peach tree is in full bloom. It was so fun to see the girls go out each day and carefully inspect the tree to see how it had progressed from buds to blossoms and now leaves. Hopefully I can add peaches to that list. We are not to hopeful since it has only been in the ground one year. But we will keep our fingers crossed!Notice all the dirt? We are in the process of building a raised garden/flower bed. The soil here is clay. We are hoping that this year things will grow a little better with improved soil. And praying that it is not my thumb. This is my raspberry vine. Look at all those raspberries. I can taste them now-or not. Because the dog ate them-ALL. I wanted to strangle her. But I didn't, I just put her in her kennel. So, there was not a berry left, not even the slightest bud of a raspberry. I guess there won't be too many raspberries this year.
Can you tell I was a little mad?
This is the sweet little Garden Fairy!
